Description
This was taken in the car on the way home from a night shoot with my good bud ~w00zle after we had been taking long exposure shots over a local motorway (M5). I took this by accident almost, as we made our way back through Worcester.Shot on a 15 second exposure, at ISO400 which gives it a great grainy feel. Camera is still attached to the tripod, but I'm holding it upright out of the dash. Had a lot of fun that night, including a visit by the police to make sure we weren't about to launch bricks, or ourselves off the motorway bridge LOL
I'm having load of fun experimenting with my camera, I know I'm not great at it compared to some of my work, but hey, who cares, its too much fun!

so I take it the camera was on a tripod you were hovering just above pavement, and those were headlights? or were all of those streetlamps as you went under them. Im trying to figure out how to do something similar! This is awesome, but I dont get it -crash

The photo itself is amazing, all the mass of jagged lights moving into the distance, and the wierd blurry horizon with some really sharp lines makes a gorgeous photo, but the image size is too big, so the only time i can see the photo as a whole is on the small version

This really gives the frenetic feel of nighttime traffic...everyone rushing somewhere!! Keep experimenting and having fun!!!
