Had this idea in mah noggin for a while now, but only just had the time or inclination to finish it. Nothing much needed to describe it really. Just fancied a close-up of some crows with lots of depth of field *shrugs*
All DoF fx done in Photoshop, original rendered in Poser.
there is a Wallpaper version of this which I'll put up soon, plus I'm working on an 'alternate' version which may or may not make it onto these pages.... stay tuned.

This is simply breathtaking and I don't say it often. I don't think it's possible to make a wallpaper with the same background is it? Anyway, I think this is a very powerful image, gives me chills.

You've certainly achieved depth of field, no question about that. As far as the crows are concerned, that "moment" was absolutely perfect. I like the setting and I love the sunset.

This one isn't quite as good as the ogre one...I think the DoF may be a little forced...kinda overbearing. Especially in the front at the bottom...
This also looks surprisingly low-poly unlike the last one...
Its a great pic overall, just not as convincing as the last one...the crows look awesome!

I like this 1 as with the snow 1. As this is darker the focus suits this more

i really, really love this. the mood/atmosphere is incredible! the crow at the front to the left looks a bit stiff though, at least it's legs. besides that, it's perfect

theres a few lil things here and there to improve, but as you said yourself, version 01

It's actually quite funny, that a lot of people don't know that multiple crows is called a Murder, and not a flock. Seems fitting doesn't it? Well done. All I need to to now it brush up my Photoshop skills

Very cool. I love their eyes. The legs on the one to the left look a little odd though, but maybe it's just me.
