These magical sea slug ponyfolk are very special! They have a water-forme, and a land-forme. They can shift to their land-forme to leave their ocean home, but they must be submerged in water (salt or fresh) at least once a day or they can get very weak.

Despite what somepony might think, Brachius are not slimy! They're very soft, almost velvety. Though, there are rumors that if they get sick or run-down, they get really slimy.

No hair here! Brachius don't have a single hair on them - their "hair" atop their heads are actually tentacles. These appendages can move on their own with some effort, but they usually hang like a mane would on a regular pony (and can even be styled with magic!).

Uncommon: Certain physical traits (longer antennae, extra fins), empaths and unusual magic
Very rare: Royalty, extreme physical traits (different shape antennae, fins, etc), more powerful magic
