Wanted to draw something a bit unique and maybe challenging. Also to try my hand at designing dragons. With a fitting background.

So for wanted to go for is a Oni Dragon design, but one thats a bit different with fitting colors representing it. For my look on Oni's, I think of them as dark purple creatures who lost sight of who their former selves were, or lost something valuable to them. This in turn corrupts them and turning them into a dark scary creature, which their emotions fuel their corruption.

For this one I went with a dragon, but mixing eastern and western elements of a dragon to make a design for one. I really liked how both this and the background turned out, fitting since its more Chinese inspired. Gonna have to think of what to make next after this.
