I've been wanting to do a picture based on this particular song, which is originally in English, mind you, for a really long time now and yeah. The song 'tis "Red Stars" by The Birthday Massacre and I love it muchly. I translated one of the choruses using what I know so far from my Japanese classes, so some things, particularly the last verse, might be wrong. Anyhow, it's typed to be read up to down and right to left, if you didn't know. Too bad you can't see most of my usual meticulous shading this time, but I really like how the lighting effect from the star turned out.

I'm in Japanese 102, yep, and I could translate it back if you'd like, but the last verse is a little off... I don't know how to manage adjectives for verbs yet. I'll put the more literal Japanese translation I ended up with after the backslashes:
