excelente el dibujo a mi me recuerda aun elefante primitivo, quizas los notaungulados estuvieran emparentados con los afroteria

¡Muchas gracias! sí, con ese cuerpo robusto y la combinación trompa-colmillos son animales que recuerdan a ciertos elefantes primitivos, aunque en otras me recuerdan más a los tapires. Eso sí, este no es un notoungulado, los astrapoterios son un grupo distinto y eso precisamente forma parte del misterio de su parentesco - ¿qué tan relacionados estaban los mamíferos de pezuña de Suramérica entre ellos? y ¿con los de otras partes del mundo? la idea de que estuvieran emparentados con los afroterios es interesante, pero creo que no ha sido muy tomada en cuenta. O por lo menos es muy difícil de probar con los fósiles tan limitados que hay.

Anyway, the light allows that the animal have volume, then the appliaction of the paint is easy. By the way, how do you texture your animals?

I really don't know how these works, although my guess is that maye they not only use the original drawing as a basis but that they use the drawing over the painted version...

I made a simple color to delineate the main lines of the original drawing, then I fill with the colours that I need and later I paint the details using dark versions of the colors over the lines that I made first.
