Took waaayy too long to get this dude done.. Have been a sketch (alot of sketches) in my drawer for a long time now..
But this is my Rex Salazar for my little Hero Force fanfiction idea.
This Rex is not the mainstream continuity version. He comes from a different reality where Van Kleiss optained the omega nanite instead of Rex. The new and more powerfull Van Kleiss, now able to create nanites was a tough opponent for Rex. Together with his brother they brought the Alpha nanite back and implemented it into Rex. It took some time, but Rex and the Alpha (who has a mind of his own) come to an agreement, sharing one body becoming Alpha Rex. His right arm is permanently transformed, and is "Alpha." His arm contains alphas sentient mind, and speaks. Their combined powers can now match Ven Kleiss'

This is beyond bad-ass and cool. Not to mention that it's also completely original. I really like the darker story and how in this Hero Force of yours he may be the guy with the darkest past or the most issues. And if you did that with Rex I would love to see you do it with Six, Holiday, and all the other characters from your Hero Force. You should really give them your own personal story.

I have a request, can you draw Rex like this but with the arm styled with the Omega nanite machines (the blue and silver machines with the light blue glow). You can keep the suit colors.
Personally, I think the arm is a good guy version of Van Kleiss'

I would have liked if Rex could use Van Kleiss' Gauntlet as his own Machine, by turning his left arm into his own version of the Gauntlet.
