I hope I put this into the right category. It's pixel art, but there is no Fanart category in the pixel art section, so I had to put it into the "characters" category.
EDIT: I've moved it to fanart now, instead of pixel art where it was before.

This is probably one of the best pictures I've ever done.
And It's one of the pictures I've worked the longest on. I spent a few hours on this every day in about 2-3 days.

I know, this doesn't look anything like my normal style. I wanted to try doing pixel art (though those emoicons I've done lately are kinda like pixel art) and I wanted to try drawing Sonic in a different style than normal, and then it somehow turned into this.
He wasn't supposed to look this scary though.

He really doesn't look too different though. The thing that makes him look weird is the eyes since people are more used to them being joined together. If they looked like normal and if his teeth didn't look like that (and maybe if he was less scary-looking), this would look a lot more like my usual style.

I started to like this picture so much I even did some shading on it and put some extra small details on it. I normally don't do shading and I usually skip a lot of small details. I tried some different shading styles for the different textures and I like the ones on the muzzle and the shoes the best.

Everything was done with the pencil tool. Yes, even the colouring. Otherwise I don't think it would really be pixel art.
