EDIT 2: the adopt is now closed! no one really made any drawings (this was supposed to be a draw to adopt, and the application part was optional XD) and only one person actually drew art of it, so by default it goes to SugoiSeal ! congrats, i hope you enjoy your new solari! c:

Edit: i realized the title might be misleading, because this is indeed a draw to adopt, and it is optional whether you wish to add a personality application thingy XD sorry if i confused anyone!

Hey guys! i created a new species, its gonna be a closed species and ill make more adopts of it in the future! c:

This is a Solari (latin for solar system), it is a celestial creature that usually roams freely in space, or in a planet's atmosphere. It has a small replica of a solar system in it's chest/stomach area, and it represents a real solar system somewhere out there (well they're actually made up, but in the solari's universe these are real solar systems). Each solari is responsible for watching over it's assigned solar system, making sure that the life on the planets are stable (if there is life), keeping all the orbits stable, ensuring the star's growth, etc. Solari live for billions of years, and one their star dies, they die as well. They usually feed on minerals, metals and such that are found in asteroids and they don't need to eat very often. They usually live somewhere in their own solar system. On the bottom of their feet are miniature suns, and they can detach from the foot to act as a propeller. When they are in the foot, they just act like a paw pad. when they are floating, they rotate like actual suns and generate energy, which the solari uses to fly around. Solari have long claws to enable them to attach themselves to asteroids and debris in space while mining for food, and also to dig out the minerals and metals to eat. Although the solari's mouth is small, it has extremely powerful teeth and jaws that can crunch through the toughest of materials, even diamonds. The tails of Solari are long, and always have a lot of colours. The antenna like things on the cheeks are sensors, they are used to detect changes in the solar system, ex. on a planet it can detect weather patterns, temperature changes, what elements are present in the atmosphere. In space, it can detect changes in orbit, magnetic fields, gravity, and even sense intruding solari or other beings.

ANYWAYS so this first adopt is going to be free, well not COMPLETELY free. It will be like a draw to adopt, and if you want, feel free to give it personality and whatnot by making and filling up an application. i'm not going to make an application, if you choose to make one, you're free to add any information you like!

deadline for this will be in like 2 days, so sometime on the 28th i guess? last time i didn't get on my computer fast enough and i passed the deadline oops XD so yeah there's no set time, just whenever i get on dA and check!
