Recently realized that ive only done ONE SAINW pic. HORROR!!!I gotta say, my fave part of this pic, is Raph's smoke. XD And im loving Leo's blue eyes. There is no Legit proof that he is blind, but IT IS HINTED. I chose him to be blind. It makes him even cooler, as he would be using his other senses to fight.
If anything, he might be going blind. XD

what is it with everyone on DA making Raph a nicotine addict anyway, is there some sort of secret that i don't know of that pushes everyone to make him a smoker?
the booze i can understand, but smoking impedes breathing and he'd need the strong lung capacity being a ninja and running everywhere he goes
this is an awesome image, don't get me wrong, you've done a lovely job of it, i'm just trying to understand why everyone makes Raph a smoker

I personally think that Leo's not blind. He doesn't act like a blind person.
I mean, yeah, could be blind and fight with his others senses but there are some details ... for example, when Donatello appears, he seems to look at him and recognize him.
Or when Raph tries to strech his hand, he suddenly strechts him back, which means that he sees Raph's hand and know where it is.
Why the glasses, then? ...Well, I think that Leo has lost a lot of the visual sense, dunno why, maybe from wounds in a battle. With the terriblyΒ scarred face and his glasses, looks obvious that there's something wrong with his eyes.Β Probably he doesn't see so much, maybe is near to be blind,Β but I definitely think that he's not completely blind.
Anyway! You portrayed them very well. I like the touch you gave on Leo's eyes, and Raph ... he's just cool, as always
(I don't remember Raph smoking, but it gives him a nice touch too).

At first I was decided to let him see. Maybe be photophobic (that's why the shades) but keeping his sight. Unfortunately, when I scanned the SaiNW episode for traces of not seeing, there are at least two moments that suggest Leo doesn't. They're both in the scene where he and Raph meet for the first time after so many years. First, when Leo arrives, he notices someone is in there and draws his sword, but he turns to the other side than Raph actually is. Second, when Donatello offers him his hand to get up, he doesn't take it although he's looking in that direction. Don has to pull him up by his elbow.
Of course, my biggest argument was that Leo fights like he isn't blind. But now I'm not so sure. He was able to defeat three Foottechs without the use of sight even back when he was fifteen. Years and years of honing other senses would probably leave some effect...
