Phew. This dude took a long time to grow. But I'm pretty content with how he turned out until now.Man, I think it's so difficult to choose proper colours for characters that actually suit them. Also I'm having a hard time picking the right amount of details for characters. Like, making them as easy as possible but detailed enough to keep the design interesting.

Why does he remind me of a combination of Bomb and Red from Angry Birds? Does anyone else see that?
I love this design enough to wish I could use it. Could I maybe use a variation? I'm asking because I don't wish to be rude or considered a 'rip-off'.

That movie was better than I expected it to be. And color me surprised, I was right!
I mostly use character ideas for my own creations, mix and matching things so that no one source is easily traceable. Yours is so good, though, the shapes, the form, the textured surface, the detail....I am not sure what to add to it or subtract without ruining its appeal.
Maybe I should leave this one alone for a while. An idea may come up in a couple months...or years.
