Description
This is how I think that Percy from Candle cove would look like. He's 19, but he's childlike and neurotic. He's afraid of almost every single thing in this world, except teddy bears and plants.He distrusts all the other members of the laughingstock crew, even Janice, and he normally calls her "EEEVIL" 'cause of her love for puppets. Percy hates puppets.
All his fears come from his traumatic childhood, when he had several close encounters with slenderman and other creatures from the forests of the eastern lands (maybe I should draw a map of candle cove world). Percy isn't a good pirate, he can't even swim, but he knows that the only way to scape from slenderman is to stay into large bodies of water.

I have thought about it, tbqh teeth-guy looks pretty cool, but I'd like to watch more of the show first before drawing anything. Right now I just have watched ep.1, and I would watch ep.2 but I'm busy.

Alright, I missed a few episodes but I saw the finale of Candle Cove.

Teeth monster was Mike's brother. From the 80's. Who hasn't grown up at all. Who still lives in his hometown.

Honestly I have no idea. If you were a puppet in a world of puppets, would you know you're a puppet? Regardless, puppets are scary as hell, and since Percy is afraid of practically everything, puppets wouldn't be an exception.

Wait, what's that about him not being recognised by the fandom???!? This pasta has like, 7 official characters to date, if there's a character that gets not too much recognition that would be Poppy. I'd say Milo, the Skin Taker and Percy are the most popular, but I don't really know how people's taste is doing nowadays, maybe he doesn't get that much attention anymore... oh well he's still one of my favs.

I mean In the creepy pasta fandom in general. Jeff and Ben are about the only ones anyone talks about. In the candle cove fandom Percy get all the attentions.

Oh I see what you mean... candle cove already had its golden age I guess, but Jeff and Ben are far more popular (personally, I never understood Ben's pasta's popularity that much, yet I still love the idea and of course Jeff's pasta).

Jokes aside, personally I don't really care, I love Jeff's pasta but anyone else has to if they don't want to. Slenderman is also another of my favs, but I kinda lost interest on the whole thing over time (don't kill me) because there was a point he was EVERYWHERE because of the games, that incident in USA (some girs tried to kill another girl because slenderman told them), etc. Candle cove will be always my number 1. I also wish Candle cove came in the spotlight again, if animation artist all over the internet paid it attention and made animations of it, that would be awesome.

I used to be more interested in creepy pasta than I am now. I wouldn't really consider myself in the fandom anymore really. But I saw this and it made me remeber a little. Candle cove will always be the best. But the whole cp fandom can get a bit over the top.

Well, this is my opinion for most things, so I guess it can also apply to this topic: I don't really consider there's a candle cove fandom; there's people who like candle cove, and then there's people who like talking/drawing about candle cove. I don't think it is solid enough to be a fandom on its own.
A creepypasta fandom? I can't really judge if there's any since I don't really know, but Candle cove I can positively claim that it is my opinion no such fandom exists. I believed there was a candle cove fandom, time ago, but my opinion since then has changed the more I've seen what a fandom needs to be a fandom, and what candle cove fans have and do not have in order to be a fandom.

He could be, but personally I think he's not that much comparable. I think he's more like a sissy, coward captain knuckles.

Why not? How old would he be according to you? I mean, is not that the original creepypasta specifies his age. Also, pirates used to start young on the job, because being a pirate you never known when you're gonna die.

He never knew his father; all what he was told was that his father was a great pirate. He lived with his mother and his sister in a little town in an island. Percy had piano lessons, but he never finished them, and his teacher always said that he would never become a good musician. Some day when he was 8, he was playing alone in the forest near his town when he had his first encounter with a tall, black-dressed, faceless creature (the slenderman). Strangely, Percy survived to his encounter and ran away. But he was still seeing the slenderman over and over again, always closer to his town and home. He began to have nightmares and fear of everything around him, and became a very neurotic child. He never told her mother about the slenderman, but this was still trying to kill him. One day, when he was returning from another piano lesson, Percy encountered his house in fire; his family was dead and burnt. He found the slenderman symbol ( [link] ) in all the burnt walls and even in the roof. He took the only thing that had survived to the fire (his teddy bear and a little pendant with a photo of him and his family) and ran away. He arrived quickly to the port of the island (it was a little island) and took on the first ship he encountered. That ship was a pirate ship, specifically the living, talking ship (the laughingstock) of a pirate called Poppy.
And that is what happened in his chilhood, and how he met the pirate life. Please understand that all this is invented by me, and the "cannon" of the original creepypasta still has not answered about Percy's origins. Anyway, hope I answered your question satisfactorily.

Yeah, in the creepypasta everyone but Janice and Melrose are puppets. Percy is a puppet, Poppy is, the Skin taker is, Horace is one too. The thing is that drawing them as puppets is not as funny as do it as if they were normal humans. But you gime me a new idea to draw.
