A creature that was discovered as a fossil with large traces of Iridium in the fossil remains. However in present a second Ghidorah crashes on earth where it is pressured by Godzilla but is no killed by mechagodzilla stopping Godzilla from destroying Ghidorah because of a misunderstanding of Godzilla's intention. This would allow Ghidorah to escaped and grow to his full size. The fully grown King Ghidorah would appear before both Godzilla and MechaGodzilla whose combined efforts would be Ghidorah's undoing.
