Whoa, I can't believe you're on dA! I remember I had to do a project, using three artists of different mediums to base my style off of -- I chose acrylic paint, oil pastels, and graphite -- and you can't really find Dalis or Picassos on graphite, you know? So I just googled graphite artists, got this list, and randomly chose one. I got Zindy-Zone.

Hauntingly Beautiful. The emotions and memories that this picture evokes for me is overwhelming. She looks exactly like me-especially when my Father died, and I cried myself to sleep every night. My Soul broke the day he died and has never been the same since. I was glad that his suffering had ended, but all that I was left with were memories. I try to remember that "Everyone we meet in life plays a role in who we become and the path we take." and that "People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime and we should try to Embrace all equally." I'm sorry for the pain you've endured. As always, your art is Incredible!

I admire your use of charcoal so, so much. Even with a charcoal pencil, I can't get things quite that neat yet. My favourite part of this picture is how you handled the draping of her dress, and just the all-around lights and darks of the drawing. I also like the many loose strands of hair. This is definitely one of my favourites by you.
