This drawing I made in 2005, but never posted it.Unfortunately I dropped a glass of water on it shortly after finishing it so I never got to scan it before it was ruined.
After getting my new scanner at the beginning of last year I managed to make a decent scan. You can still see the dark places in the white area from the water.
I just thought I would try and post it for you to see, since it was one of my better drawings I feel, at least it means a lot to me.
I remember seing a magazine with a girl smelling a flower and got the idea for the drawing.

The left hand is my favorite. It looks so delicate. The picture of innocence...BUT...with a little age to make the act of plucking flowers a trivial thing. I like it, because we all have those moments of wanting to get back to youthful things of old.

This is just beautiful. I have a thing for hands myself, they're just so elegant and you've really captured the movement of hands in this, the tones are beautiful and the concept, again, is fantastic.

Zindy, the water actually looks like some sort of shading effect of waves or ripples in the background. It's actually very interesting -looking like that. Awesome job.. I love the details of the hands and how they look so delicate.
