Description
A drawing I did a little while back using the lovely daughter of Kristy Thomas.I was in very dark stage and needed to get my feelings out. It's about how sometimes you can feel so alone, fragile and that you are on this painful road where you go nowhere and feel like all your problems are too much to handle.
Made with soft charcoal.

Nice symbolism. I still stick with my opinion: charcoal is more your medium. Its diff to draw a tear with coal that is sophisticated at close range. BTW I think I know the problem you're wrestling with concerning drawing. What I have noticed you used to introduce more play in the eyes. The late work had always show that distinct "standard procedure" neat eyes; too neat sometimes. In your celebs 2006/2007 you had more subtleties and more reflectionplay. In this drawing I see it back again, but I feel you're not too sustainable on that part. This, for the technical side, I think you might want to pump in a little more attention in the eyes and forget the rush. It is not too much extra work, but it adds more to the emotion, which is so your power in your drawings.
