Tonight I just felt like relaxing and working with my favourite medium; charcoal.I did a drawing from my latest photo shoot with Anja and Nicklas. I am already working on another very detailed pencil drawing with the couple. It's taken me quite some time, I predict it will be done sometimes in December.
I very much enjoyed working on this one, I put the most focus on the male as I really liked his look and expression.

this is flawless!!! the intimacey portrayed in the picture is amazing. the textures are very well done. you captured it well! it reminds me of a drawing that i did which im aboutto put up soon. you should check it out when i do. this is amazing. quite frankly it makes me jealous.

Thank you. It's the white in the paper, I only used black charcoal.

do u do this straight away in charcoal?? or do u sketch it out first in pencil?? coz this is so beautfiul and amazing and realistic!!

I draw up the lines softly with a graphite pencil before adding the charcoal. Thanks much.

You'd have to be very certain of what you do to start the drawing up with charcoal, as you can't really correct it afterwards
