This drawing I have been working many many hours on. Can't even count them, really took my time to perfect it. I feel happy with the outcome, mostly because the theme of the drawing means a lot to me. I guess you can make up your own thoughts about it...I used a picture of myself and my dress for the pose, changed my features a little in the face, as how I would love to look like, bigger lips and pointier nose.
Thanks for all the comments and faves on the ealier wips, hope you like the result

Absolutely stunning. I love how smooth the backgroun is.. I would never have the patience to do that. Everything else perfect as well... and I'm admiring the dress too.

excellent... everything about this is superbly done... the face, the dress, everything.
The only thing I'm even intrigued with changing at all is I can't help but wonder how it'd look with faint little cells (or, i guess, scales) in the wings, to make then anatomically correct. But even without that, this is gorgeous.

Yeah could be an idea, I kind of just like to make wings very simple. I have tried making really detailed wings once and I felt like it wasn't that great, simple seems to work better with me when it comes to wings.

You know, it's been years since I've picked up a pencil or had the yearning to suddenly draw. But after seeing this beautifully intricate sketch I can feel a trace of something I once knew fill the day with promise.
Zindy, your drawing speaks to me, as cliche`d as it may sound. It's breathtaking and inspiring. The position of the figure, the wings, they're all perfect. Thanks for giving me the urge to pick up a pencil and let go...
