Well, here is my emotional release of what happened in the latest chapter or One Piece. This scene made me sob like no-ones business. That... and yet, it was so beautifully put together i could in no way be angry at Oda... only accept it and be amazed by his abilities to stretch my emotions.I had to join the bandwagon and do some emo fan art T.T

Nicely done, and yes, the way the tragedy was executed was exemplary, verging on Shakespearean, how it was all built up with Impel Down, and then dramatically crashing down at the least unexpected moment just when everyone Β thought "no one dies in one piece." So sad...Β
Anyways I think you captured it very well, Oda's unconventional art style kinda took a little away from the whole scene.

I'm glad you like the piece, and it was an amazing tragedy. Ace's death was not just some ploy to get more readers or add a bit of shock value to the story, it was the pinnacle of what took multiple arcs and hundreds of chapters to reach. Talk about respecting your characters.Β
Oda's art style can take away from the angsty look that can be cool and is easily found in other manga, but he does emotions and expressions so well that it holds the same emotional punch as it would have with the more serious art style.Β
Still, I would like to see the more serious style with some of the scenes and that's how you got this

I read that part in the manga and cried then just a few mionutes ago saw the episode and cried for half an hour. This is a very sweet picture, you did a fantastic job capturing the moment and amazing job with the colors, I love it

This is BEAUTIFUL XD!!! T-T And yet so sad, but still amazing. Curse you this pic is making me feel the same way the episode did, yet I LOVE IT! So conflicting, but yes this looks amazing, I love the colors and the text in the pic. Great job and so I can feel a bit better.

But i read it hehe, I said to a friend that ace shud die not cause he is a bad character he is bad ass but I thought it was something that Luffy needed to become stronger up till this point he never really had a Loss like this I think this will kick him into high gear and motvate him more after a lil cry

AMAZING picture. you captured the very essence of emotion and depth.
though i cant say im very happy with the outcome. i find it rather cruel to a sence. ESPECIALLY after reading that long story about their childhood. i almost want to say it was unecessary but there's no stopping it now. i can be mad about it or i can continue reading it and just take it as it is XD
