My Honchkrow cosplay that I finished for Otakon!I am so amazingly proud of this thing, HOLY SHIT. I got so many photographs taken of me, and video, and everything, oh man.
(I will try and get more photos up tomorrow but I'm really really tired right now and need to get to bed XD)

I really love how you did the arm coverings, I've been mulling over making wings for a while now. But the arm covering part of the tutorial isn't finished.
And yours look so natural and very pretty.
What did you do to make them? If you don't mind me asking. ^^

I don't mind you asking at all! I actually had to draw these diagrams up anyway, so I've got NO problem at all sharing them with you too!

so there's setting up your sleeve and arm covers. When you are set up like that, cut a bunch of small feathers. Mine are all just cut from felt. They don't have to be all perfect so don't get yourself too frustrated with these. When they are cut, start attaching (mine are just glued) to the sleeve and felt panels, starting at the WRIST and working up the arm towards your shoulder. They should be overlapped like scales, with the rounder ends pointing toward your hand, and as they go down the felt panels start turning them so they point somewhat downwards.

I know you said you made this for an otakon past but are you going to be at this years otakon as your honchkrow?
Because the wings I've been working on are for this years otakon and I'm going as a chatot duo and I'd love to see your wings in person and compare notes and stuff ^^
