Description Yesterday, the first episode of Aim To Be A Pokémon Master was released.  This marks the beginning of the end of a legacy: Ash Ketchum, a Trainer from Pallet Town in the Kanto Region, shall be ending his 25-year long journey that started on April 1, 1997.  Ever since at least August 26, 2010, people have been wondering if this would be one giant wild goose chase, and those feelings only intensified August 18, six years later, when Alain had denied Ash the win he was seeking during the Kalos League Finals.  However, on September 15, 2019, the unthinkable happened: Ash beat Gladion and won out on the Manalo Conference and becoming Alola's first ever Champion.  There was some controversy due to it being open to anyone and being percieved as a Saving Throw for the infamous Kalos League Finals, but it was the first main series League victory ever, taking over 22 years to finally achieve such a status.  Then he traveled the world, including Galar, and come Friday, November 11, 2022, there was no longer any doubt: Ash Ketchum, once a memetic failure and slave to Status Quo, had beaten the once-ubnbeatable Leon, Champion of Galar, to become World Coronation Series Monarch.  Defeating not just Steven Stone, but also Cynthia along the way, all of his past failures had been washed away.
In a grand confrontation between their aces Pikachu and Charizard, Ash has finally fully redeemed himself.  No longer will the "Gary was Here, Ash is a Loser" meme be used, as he finally did the impossible and became a Pokémon Master.  Happy ending achieved, we will have new protagonists for Paldea and the Scarlet/Violet series, but he may make a cameo or two and maybe teach the two protags some pointers.  However, a gamer's journey is never done.  I've gone all through ten/eleven regions (including Orre/Hisui), and I'll keep going as long as they make more Pokémon games.  In honor of the newly crowned Monarch, here's me and Ash, with our main partners in their powered up forms.  Mega Muramasa and Gigantamax Pikachu, friends forever.
