A study in Photoshop and Illustrator

The model ~penguinpantsstock was manipulated by adjusting the curves of the image to create a milky white skin then smudged to blend all the lights and darks of the image to create a real angelic feel. I then added some japanese "rising sun" rays for added effect.

background is vectored using live trace (Illustrator CS2) of the bitmap background then sending it back into photoshop to be blured out.
