Description
An Unfaith is a cross species of a daemon and fae, combined with Zionite energy.

Eons ago, during the early settlement era of Nede City, humans have once believed in harnessing Zionite energy for reproduction purposes. Their queen, Valencia, was subjected to be the first human to have a child with Zanarath, the king of lesser daemons, through Zionite radiation.

The process, however, was proven to be unsuccesful in the procreation of a pure child, thereby causing Valencia to lose her soul and fall into the hands of Malekai; her downfall eventually caused the mass exodus of humans from inhabiting Nede.

In the hopes of returning his lover from the Varen (a dimensional plane beyond the realm of Nede City), Zanarath combined Valencia's DNA to the Zionite harvest stream that lies at the core of Nede, creating impure monsters that served Malekai and the greater daemons of the Varen until a pure child is produced in exchange for Valencia's soul. Once every decade, over twenty-thousand Unfaiths are reproduced from the Zionite harvest stream to be subjected through experimentation and servitude. Many years have passed since these innocent creatures have been tortured, enslaved, abused, and sexually exploited in the Varen; the Unfaiths eventually had to inhabit the city of nightmares due to the increased population of greater daemons.

Because of their impurities as a "being", along with the years of enslavement and Zionite exposure in Nede, the Unfaiths have eventually undergone drastic changes in physical appearance when bled. These changes consist of different stages depending on the chemical structure of an Unfaith's DNA, which is difficult to predict considering that all Unfaiths are born with bodies that are practically identical to their counterparts (except for the differentiation in sex.)

The first stage of an Unfaith is the one that you see in the image right now. They are minor in stature and don one single blue wing (right wings for males, left wings for females). This is a fairly harmless stage for any Unfaith, as they merely follow orders and try to avoid lethal activities that could cause them to bleed. Unfaiths in stage one can also either be kind or fearful of other creatures in Nede depending on their past experiences during their first years of living on Earth.

The second stage is when an Unfaith with corrupt genetic coding starts to bleed and loses control of their body parts/organs. This transforms their limbs and, depending on their DNA structure, converts their minds to a primal state and attacks their enemies. Despite the change, the Unfaiths can still revert to stage one after time has passed.

The third stage of an Unfaith occurs when he/she bleeds EXCESSIVELY and changes their entire physical appearance. Rather than retaining their humanoid appearance, the third stage utilizes the Zionite energy within the Unfaith's DNA and transforms the subjects into horrific monsters. Once an Unfaith reaches stage three, they cannot revert to their previous stages.

Stage four, known as "Exsomnis", is one of the stronger transformations and are feared by humans, fae, and daemons alike. Exsomnis can only be achieved when a daemon manages to inseminate a female Unfaith during stage one and bleeds excessively in stage three. Their physical appearance consists of that of a "nightmare fairy", a species of fae that can only exist in the realm between reality and fantasy. Exsomnis Unfaiths are cunning and extremely lethal with abilities that are nearly corporeal, which can only be destroyed through Zionite energy charges.

Stage five is the rarest stage an Unfaith can go through. As a matter of fact, stage five is what Zanarath and Valencia have tried to accomplish during their reign in Nede by creating a pure child. Stage five, known as "EGO", can only be achieved through a mutation in Unfaith DNA, intermingling with a human's genetic code within the Unfaith's bloodstream. An Unfaith in the EGO stage is basically a human with pure, white hair at the start of birth from the Zionite harvest stream. It is said that an EGO can lead the entire race of Unfaiths to freedom and coexist beyond the borders of Nede. To this day, no Unfaith has ever been seen to have the characteristics of an EGO, but there has been speculation that an EGO lives among the city of nightmares oblivious to their own purpose as a true "being".
