I don't do much Fan Art, mostly because I rather draw/paint my own creations, but when I do I go all out.ΒI don't think I'll be making this a print though.

Yeah, odd inhuman shape of his head normally, looks strange to me. lol
So I went with something more realistic, it's more an aesthetic look, than anything.
I loved Dragon Ball, just never been a fan of the artist's lack of anatomy knowledge.
The muscles they draw on them crack me up.

And this is when I question people why they are trying to bring logic into cartoon based games or anime, game and video game logic don't follow real world logic.
Also the muscles is what seriously ripped men look like, I mean the steroid users.

Like I sad, an Aesthetic choice. As or the muscles, no. The style in Dragon Ball makes up musculature, but as you stated it is a cartoon, and I understand that. I know it's a animated series, but I do have a style of my own. I choose to keep my style, and not just use the cookie cutter style of anime when making fan art. Not to say Anime or DBZ is bad, it is just not MY style.
It should be mentioned that Anime is not my preferred style, but I do love the series (the first Dragon Ball more than anything.), and wanted to make a homage to it.

Neat, the original Dragonball is my favourite part of the series too, more story and a lot more sense of adventure and the Saiyans are not important to steal all the spotlight, and characters like Yamacha, Tein and Krillan are still relevantΒ

I saw it all in Spanish mostly, and I don't really speak it much, bu tit is my preferred language to the show.
Lol The characters sounded so much more menacing or powerful in Spanish.

DBGT isn't canon so that doesn't count, Uub appears in the last two episodes of Dragonball Z, so canon wise he is still the most powerful human

That's so hype! The way you conveyed the surge of power is excellent. It gives the impression that Goku truly is someone who is unbelievably strong.
Also, I too prefer to work on my own creations than fan-art most of the time. Respect.
