Being an idiot isnt all that bad. They never look at how powerful a "wall" in life is, unlike the smarter ones. They are determined to never give up no matter what the risk is. But yeah, you cant be too much of an idiot in life.

Being an idiot is not the same as being determined to go through the tough times. The main protagonists are blatantly ignorant and naïve outside the world they live in and live in perpetual simplicity and combative chaos over the detailed works of life making them static.

If they actually learned to adapt and innovate their lives to grow into mature and responsible fighters who honed their strengths with wisdom and experience, they'd be better characterts for it. But authors keep them young and inexperienced yet strong and competent with little development in their personalities or growth of self because of kid appeal and wanting the characters to be marketable by making them the same as they started.

They arent static characters. They are dynamic, because, the thing is the company does want their protagonists matured so kids can learn, but at the same time, as you said, make money. Its just that they want to mature their characters long enoungh so that they can have that kid appeal, but they also have that appeal from other age groups. Like, in these plots, some of the problems require the main protagonists to be mature enough to overcome it. Some of those problems can be real life problems that we dont have the answer to.

What you may have said could be true, but the main protagonists are not that ignorant and naive to the outside world. I didnt mean a total idiot, but just the ones that are ignorant of the odds of failure, no matter how inexperienced they might be.

They might be better characters if they learned to adapted and innovate their lives, but then, the story becomes boring, because we already know they will succeed everytime, making the suspense of the story, well, gone. Who wants a story without adventures like that?

They don't change or have moments of clairity of their own life. They aren't dynamic, they just spread their core traits over new developments and stay unaffected by anything new. Maturing in terms of fighting style and finding a new goal or opponent to fight for is the only thing that changes, but once they overcome said obstacles and win they turn back into the same character we know them for, and sometimes gets repetivtive when they encounter said situation again and remain oblivious on to what his dangerous for himself or the people around him. Kids themselves have to be dumbed down to see the main character act silly and non serious the narrative is.

SOme main characters need an ensemble of cast side characters to move the plot because the main lead is simple and stupid to be proactive towards certain things while all the work and effort to enrich the details of the story and action is the main cast. That's lazy, the main protagonist first and foremost should equal to the narrative and control the story as well as the plot, also not be blatantly useless when thinking or being perceptive. But it's also a bad idea to allow the protagonist to only one who solves everything and leaves the cast irrelevant, some mangas let the hero overtake most of the action at the expense of others growth because of the authors inconsistency of making the plot bend towards  the protagonist when ever it is convientant.

Edward Elric, Negi Springfield, Toriko, the Jojos, and more have shown the traits I have said that you said would make the story boring. Plus it a good thing to succeed with some actual context, protagonists shouldn't half ass there way through stuff and somehow find a way trough luck to win. Natsu, Naruto and Luffy are examples of this trope. A main character should be as contextual and enguaging as the plot, and through the story should feel like a real person does when they grow up, otherwiseit gets dull and repetitive.

The animes are not centred around kids, it's centred around youth. That's the only thing you got wrong, otherwise your point does convince me.

It's just that authors frequently justify such things because they are writing for kids and young adults to have main characters that exxerate youth and eccentricity. But it sometimes comes off as lazier attempts to develop and give depth but spend more time empowering them with overpowering battle feats and acute battle experience. This is what I call the "superman wank" effect.
