I think this piece is beautiful. The colors compliment the tone and the anatomy is incredible. The two light sources really have a unique effect on the art. My only critique is that the candle and the light surrounding it is a bit too blurry. Other than that I really enjoy this piece.

Yes that's usually the first thing I do when I suspect art theft, check the other pieces and see if there's a recognizable style or suspicious jumps in improvement. Then it's reverse image searching Google, finding multiple sources, determining which one is the original and then contacting the original artist(if there is one to be found) notifying them that they should put in a DMCA complaint etc etc. It's a long process, and it sucks. It's funny because I see a lot of stolen art that people don't take a second look at, yet this piece has like 4 people commenting that it's stolen. Like one person got jealous or was horribly misinformed and then everyone else started parroting it without doing their own research. Sorry, I sound somewhat harsh... I appreciate that people are trying to point these things out, as they DO need to be pointed out more than they are currently in these sorts of online communities. It's just that, you shouldn't go around pointing fingers and making accusations without having reasonable doubt yourself. At that point it's just slander, ya know?

I definitely agree with pointing out art theft, because people spend HOURS of their life and hard work on their pieces, and doing this just for the sake of doing it (when is clear the artist wasn't stealing anything and is actually just talented af) is just plain trolling.Β

Yes pointing out true theft is definitely important. And it does seem this is trolling through and through judging by ...adultbaby's (that username..wow)replies to us. I'm not sure how to be "jelouas" of someone who doesn't understand what they're even saying.
