Margaret Berg is Hilda's mother.
Margaret was married to Einstien Berg but later became a widow.
She is a perfectionist and a bit neurotic at times but she is very motherly and does her best to teach Hilda valuable lessons.
One being a teacher, Margaret enjoys reading and now works as a librarian off the coast of Inkwell. She doesn't have any super close friends and likes the silence, but she makes time for Hilda at least once a week so that they can chat and have tea and maybe talk about the latest gossip on the island, something Hilda finds herself emerged in when she isn't working.
