Description
At midday you step into the small tavern expecting it to be empty. Yet as you enter a figure in a red cloak and plate armor is seated next to... a warhorse? The figure stands and turns, revealing himself to be a tabaxi too you, "Welcome friend! Come join us for a drink." The horse snorts with a disgruntled look on his face. From the back the barkeep speaks with a tired voice, "Mr. Steelblade Sir, I've told you several times now. You can't have a one ton animal on my tavern floor, please take him to the stables." The Tabaxi looks at the barkeep with a confused look, "But how do I get him ale if he is out there? You said the mugs couldn't go outside?" The barkeep sighs, looking at you with a defeated expression, "A little help please."

Steelblade is a fun character. He is a paladin that doesn't serve any specific deity, and instead swaps around to whatever god his current situation leads him to follow as can be seen by the numerous holy symbols scratched and inlaid on his weapon. The halberd he carries is a magic weapon, the shaft is a rod of collapsing. By saying a magic word he can extend it to full length for combat, or retract it to an easily carried length. His mount is a warhorse named Horse Butt II. ...we don't speak of the fate of the original Horse Butt, it upsets Horse Butt II.
