Looks good!  These horses have a more human expression than I usually see in equines, but I didn't see the Spirit reference until you mentioned it.  And even then, I think these guys are much more yours than Disney's

Hehe, yeah. I think i was trying to also practice drawing ballators as well here. They have big roman noses. (At least mine do.)

*Dreamworks though. XD James Baxter was a huge inspiration to me when I was a little kid. I think he was a spark in the dream of wanting to be a character/creature creator.

Oops!  My bad -- It's been a long time sing I've watched an animated feature of any kind.  To me, they are all "Disney"    Always good to have a worthy inspiration, though

Same! I need to watch a good cartoon sometime. 
I understand. I often forget that Pirates of the Caribbean is actually a Disney series. It always seems so adult themed to me. 
The corporate monsters always get their brand slapped on goods that look like theirs. Especially when their product is generalized. Like Kleenex rather than tissues, or Germ-X rather than hand sanitizer.
