I was having some sort of conversation with this calf as I tried to keep him interested in my so that my mom and grandma could snap photos. This one came out really well. He was really interested in my face--I would lean down close and he would reach up and sniff me all over my face. I think he smelled the apples I had been eating, and all the apple juice all over me. I was so close to his mouth and he was so interested that I was a little cautious that he would bite me, but he didn't. Knowing calves, if he would have done anything it would have been to just lick me and slobber all over my face.
