This is like a scene from a movie where the woman leaves the man protecting her so she could go on and continue living. I love the concept and how the woman in the picture shows the conflicting emotions. Nice job. ..

I really like your creativity...
there's only one thing I need to tell you, I think it would be better to watermark your works. They are so gorgeous and I've heard (well, read ) of so many artists on DA victims of art theft!

I know they are awful to look at but at least consider hiding a symbol, or an avatar somewhere.

Anyway, keep it up, I love your work!

One thing; do a sharpen. It's too blurry.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ZirTuan In reply to Cookthechef [2007-08-11 03:26:06 +0000 UTC]

the blurriness is caused by the heat wave from the fire...the image is quite sharp itself.

the fire was the first thing that got my eyes and i wondered if it was true. it's simply great how the camera captured it! the shape and everything... and of course the story behind it is also interesting

I love this image, including the fire and the look on the model's face. It's a very interesting concept.... the only critique is perhaps the fire is toooooo bright. (I know, it's fire and IS bright...) but maybe if it was burned in a little, it wouldn't take your eyes off the model so much. I focus on the fire so much, the model is very secondary to the image....

The fire is the best part, it grabbed my attention.

I like this one. The style is old fashioned, but the colors bring this image in this year.
I really love the mixture of pink as highlight and the grey of the train, and even if i didn't understood the meaning of the fire, i like it as well. (i like its curve).

sorry if i wrote maybe to much
the idea you put in this work cought my attention.

That's one of the coolest shots I've seen in a long time. I love the saturated look to it all yet how it all still pops with conflicting colors despite the softness to it. The texture and flow of the flames are amazing and just wonderful to take in. And the overall image itself is incredibly interesting and impressive.

interesting location, its effective how the flames reach up to her and sort of frame her without being too deliberate.

Excellent

flaery [2006-07-15 14:42:06 +0000 UTC]

Those flames are scary! I love her look (her emotion, her clothes, her pose), and how she looks like she's about to try and bang open the door. The flame right by the bottom of her dress looks a little strange because it looks like it's on her, but she's not really burning, if you know what I mean? I like the rest of it, though. Fantastic job.

ZirTuan In reply to flaery [2006-07-17 02:50:47 +0000 UTC]

It is not burning because its a designer's dress.

It was taken near the dorm, there's a train station now a resturant. I went there at night after their business hours and shot it. The fire is real, I had a guy blew fire for the shot.
