Throughout their discoveries of ancient prototypes, the staff of the recently burned Fazbear's Fright could only salvage classic prototypes for Foxy, Freddy, and Chica. Bonnie had been neglected, it seemed, until a prototype for a Funtime Bonnie character was discovered. Much of its face and limbs had been destroyed, and his faceplates were destroyed almost completely. It had used parts from Funtime Freddy, who, initially, seemed to not have Bon-Bon, but, when that change came around, Bonnie was locked away as a prototype, never to be found... Until now.

Anyways, if you can't tell, each prototype has a different theme. Foxy is mangled, Freddy is springlock, and Bonnie is funtime-based. You know who that leaves, riiiiight?
