Shucks, didn't expect this to be a full fledged drawing, but here we are. I was feeling particularly inspired by a heart-warming message I received about a FanFiction I write, and ended up doodling some more Stevethyst (since that seems to be a common theme with literally everything I do every waking moment of my life). Ended up with an outline I enjoyed, then tried some new styles such as the slight-colored outlines combined with a more flat color scheme. That was the result of the characters. Pretty obvious that everything else isn't exactly flat-colored, lol. I dunno, there's an odd juxtaposition between both Steven and Amethyst and the background, but I kinda like it still.

In all honesty, there's a fair amount more to this drawing, but I don't know whether I want to post this cropped version to focus on these two lovable dorks, or the full drawing to include the sky and the many motes of light referenced in the title. I think both versions are rather nice, so I'll likely end up posting them both. Hope you don't mind.

Again, this doesn't have to be romantic if you don't want it to be. I'll leave that up for your interpretation. Hope you enjoy this, it was a blast to draw. Have a good day, mate!
