Description My other Glee comics -> [link]

Ugh, I don't know why but I had major artist's block with this one. I feel like everything I drew came out funky, so I had to keep redrawing everything. Sorry if there are typos. I'm so tired right now.

Remember in "The Spanish Teacher" When Tina wasn't there and there was literally no explanation? Well I find the idea of Tina being mysteriously missing and no one noticing to be way too amusing. In my mind Tina was gone during the entire hiatus. lol That was the only way I could think to interpret the inevitable let down of how unaffected this epiosde was by last time's dramatic events.

I'm not quite sure how I feel about this episode. I enjoyed it (some parts more than others). There was nothing all that bad about it, but for whatever reason I haven't really wanted to watch it again (usually I can't wait). I just felt like the parts that usually thrill me were lacking something. .... I don't know. Matt Bomer did rock my world though, so the epiosde got bonus points for that. What did you guys think?

Ok, now that I've actually seen the episode I know what you're saying haha.
First up, great artwork as usual. I always love how you draw the characters and their facial expressions so much. And the eyes are amazing too
So, I kinda thought that Quinn was being overly optimistic in the begining, but then the end kinda revealed its her coping mechanism.
And I feel bad for not even noticing Tina's absence... oops.
And agreed, I wouldn't be overly crazy about this episode, what with Finchel's dilema (srsly Finn, what the hell?) but seeing Quartie bonding time was pretty cute, and I LOVE BLAINE MORE THAN LIFE ITSELF so that was a-ok with me
Now I just have to see the next two, and all I know about them is that theres a really adorable dancey thimg with Klaine in the next one with a look that Blaine gives Kurt which when I saw I melted just a little bit, and the one after that, Tumblr has informed me there is fighting in the world of Klaine...which concerns me...
(And also, Sue's baby and the "just Like You" part with Becky kinda made me cry , but in a good way because of how she lost Jean and now has Becky and... ok you get what I mean. But what was with Emma's "We're coming with you!" part. Will looked so uncomfortable! Which I found amusing coz I aint a Shue fan haha)

I'm a spoiler Queen, so I knew Matt Bomer was playing Blaine's brother in 3x15 but even if I didn't, logic would have told you that this episode wasn't picking up where 3x14 left us in the courthouse or at Quinn's accident scene. And as far as I'm concerned, I'd be happiest if Karofsky is never mentioned again, never mind appearing.

But even so, this episode was a let down. Quinn must have died in that accident because she was no where to be seen in this one. I only saw/heard Dianna Agron in that wheelchair. And as a Blaine stan, I wanted character development for him and I feel like we got none. Baby Blainers is even more obviously 1/2 Asian than teen Blaine. Plus there appeared to be a huge difference in economics between the room in the flashback and Blaine's current room. So are they step brothers? That would have given a lot of fuel for the estrangement of the brother's relationship. I'm NO Finn fan but how could you possibly spin his yelling at when she didn't fall into line with his ridiculous plan as okay, never mind that she is in the wrong as fans did? I did agree that Rachel doesn't see the real Finn but what she wants him to be. But I've said that all year......
Add Senior Skip Day, which I would have liked to have seen more of, perhaps instead of Saturday Night Glee-ver. And Sue's baby drama and the beginnings of another love triangle. As usual, the episode was too full. They tried to put in too much and as always, the cast is too large and many are dissatisfied. I did like the meta of Tina as a dead body though! And I'm sure we'll meet Cooper again in season 4, so maybe we'll find out more about the Anderson's eventually.

I do think from a writing stand point it only makes sense to show Karofsky one last time just to conclude his story arc, so we get a glimpse of him being recovered after what he went though. Then again, the Glee writers have been throwing out basic Writing 101 since S2 so I wouldn't be surprised if we never hear about him again.

I agree about the half asian thing. When we finally got a Blaine back story it only raised more questions than answers. My guess is by bringing Matt in as Blaine's brother they were trying to whitewash him since he can kind of pass for white if you don't think about it. You can guarantee that the writers sure didn't. I'm pretty sure Cooper will be back in S4. Everybody loved him, and you know how Glee loves to bring people back, but it'll probably just make Blaine's back story even more of a confused mess since it will no doubt conflicts with half the things we learned from Big Brother.

Gotta side with Rachel on this one. I was thinking the exact same thing when that part happened. Of course, I have found myself doing so more and more as the series has gone on. Finn has become really selfish over the last two seasons. Not saying Rachel isn't selfish, because she is, but the fact Finn gets in a huff over the fact that Rachel won't sacrifice her life's dream, and something she is finally achieving, to chase a stupid pool cleaning idea that Finn has come up with to make himself feel all important is ridiculous. Love the comic though, I actually laughed out loud at Rachel's bit at the end XD

Yeah, Season 3 has made me realise how much I hat e Finn. He used to be good for Rahel like in S1 he helped encourage Rachel to be less selfish and contribute to the team. Now he's becoming just as selfish as she ever was on top of being a witless doof.

hehe, Kurt+puppy=ADORABLE!
yea, I felt the same about this episode, it was ok, I liked 'somebody that I used to know' and there were some funny bits, but other than that, I think you've picked up on everything I had trouble with. The worst was the fact that they didn't mention Karofsky, I can only hope he'll return later! I really love Tina in this, (the first panel is soo funny, Kurt is hilarious!) she's like a mirror of our thoughts, like, everything we were worried about turned out ok, Karofsky, Quinn, (who was really weird in the episode) I actually laughed out loud when she started singing at the start!! And urgh, I actually was on rachel’s side, I mean, the fact that finn just completely disregarded her life’s ambition for something he’d come up with a few seconds ago is ridiculous! despite the writer’s block this is an awesome comic!

Thanks.

I've heard rumors that Karofsky is supposed to be back in a few episodes, for what I'm guessing is his last appearance, but I don't know if that's confirmed or anything. It would make sense. It would be really stupid for his last appearance to be crying in a hospital bed, but Glee has done some stupid things before that I thought they'd never do.

Yeah, Quinn was weird. I really think this whole car accident thing was a shameless way to keep us talking about the show over the hiatus and now that it's back they probably wont make it a big deal until Quinn has to walk again (either at nationals or in the graduation epiosde).

omg really??? I hope thats true! if it will be his last appearence, I want him to be happy, to maybe find a guy, or stand up to some of the bullies with kurts help! that'd be perfect. you're right though, him not coming back is something glee would do! ignore one of the best things it has going in favour of something more boring.
oh yea! they used it as a cliffie to keep us in suspense, and now don't know what to do with it! thats awful writing!

Nice. I loved how Rachel was the only one who slightly was concerned about Quinn, but Quinn was practically a living 'Don't Text and Drive' ad. I think the Finn part was supposed to break up Finchel, which I think should happen. And I love your Tina theory.

OMG, right? I don't understand anything about that character. Quinn's never been the optimistic type. Like EVER. She's always super (almost depressingly) realistic. Now she gets in a terrible accident and everything is sunshine and rainbows.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

gr8edcheez In reply to ZiyalRising [2012-04-16 19:57:56 +0000 UTC]

yeah, and Rachel finally decides to feel sorry for her when she's "happy", but didn't when she could have have felt sorry for her when she was pregnant, or after all that Beth bullshit when she was actually MISERABLE.

Oh yeah, and why do all the bad things happen to Quinn? I'm starting to get the idea that RIB just created her so bad shit can happen and so they can have cliffhangers that could lead to not-so-exciting episodes....

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ZiyalRising In reply to gr8edcheez [2012-04-16 20:12:21 +0000 UTC]

That's a really good point. I hadn't thought of that. lol I guess it's easier to feel for someone when they're being nice rather than making your life miserable. Quinn wasn't very good to Rachel an any of the other seasons.

Quinn and Kurt are like RIB's favorites to pick on. They seem to always have the worst shit to deal with. With every one else it's like "who am I going to hook up with this week?"

To tell you the truth I am proud of Finn for finally standing up for himself and I didn't see it at all as 'this is MY dream so screw yours'. To me it was more like he was just trying to think of his future. Its pretty obvious he's not all that smart so college probably isn't in the cards. He knows how to work on motors, sing, and play football. Right now pool cleaning with Puck is his best prospect for a future. He has given up lots of things for Rachel over the past three years, its about time he thought if himself.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

ZiyalRising In reply to CallaSoreon [2012-04-16 20:07:52 +0000 UTC]

I agree with the sentiment of Finn FINALY bothering to think about his future. I guess I more had a problem with the way he told Rachel. They've spent months making these plans and then randomly, in a passing conversion in a hallway, he casually mentions that he might not want to go along with any of them. He had to have knows it was going to upset Rachel (not that that should've stopped him from talking to her), but then when she inevitable got confused and upset he turned around and got mad like she was the one making it all bout her. It's not Rachel's fault Finn's had a complete lack of ambition or foresight all year. And It's not like Rachel was the one pushing him to get married or to follow her to NY. He was the one that came up with both those ideas. Then again, I'm extremely Finn biased. I seam to find a way to be annoyed with him no matter what he does. I'll admit that I'm not completely objective.
