I think the archer trainer in carderock had this problem. She mentions how she was in love with a human. Of course, elves live longer so.. that didn't go too well. As for the comic, great work! Makes me wonder if he's like the incarnation of her former love? I think that's what you were getting at. That would be so convenient for her to fall in love with the same soul over and over again, even in death.
