I think this drawing is very expressive... it scares me a little, you know, gives me that stiff, tight-chesty feeling. It works wonderfully even if one doesn't know the song, I believe.

Dude is this the same professor who's only taught one class...? Idk, the purpose of the project seems pretty wishy washy like you were sayin she was.
ANYWAY, you beat the pants off this assignment, the shadows on the girl and the ones she casts at the piano are the best.
