You have boasted in thy letter that your armies be of such greatness and strength, that the Sultan himself see thee as one of equal standing. You have also boasted your wizards make any other of any country on Hetra, look as though like novices, and that they make it snow in the desert and slay a man with the mere flick of fingers.

Warriors that are free and nomadic, who wander the eastern parts of Intak, and are known for their military prowess. The Owlvic Cossacks live a life similar to that which their ancestors lived hundreds of years ago. A semi-nomadic people and semi-militarized people, they are seen as either a dangerous thorn in the side of a government that won't go away, or one of the most valuable mercenary army they can find, who's more eccentric way of life is excusable for their performance. Cossacks are a highly democratic, electing a leader from among their ranks, with the whole band being similar to a parliamentary group. Once chosen, this leader is given a ceremonial mace, and acts a the leader for the battlefield and the settlement. Other powers are then given to the senior officers, who then enact new cultural laws and uphold the old ones. Cossacks can be found from the eastern parts of Nordinevia to the northern parts of the dwarven empire. They live along the banks of the rivers, living off the land, completely separate from the major nation they live in. A Cossack can be equipped with anything that they can afford, or get their hands on. This can make any Cossack army a notable sight from any other mercenary army, as even the soldiers of hire can be bothered to have similar armor or identifiable insignia and colors. As an example, the one depicted is wearing brigandine chest armor with puldrons, with a large Symitar and musket. This is but one of the many things that these Sova can equip themselves with.
