Description Dear Lord Sayyid Khaas

I write to you from the far east, with more information on the most hated enemy.

A War like race from the East. Monstrous and numerous, these creatures have been known by the peoples of the east, as the most violent groups of those lands. For context, the term Anarachi is but a catch all term, referring to such bipedal, arachnid creatures with the capacity for intelligence. The main Anarachi Empire is divided into numerous hordes, each in a struggle for power over the other, while the empire's head, watches in amusement. These hordes are then made up four different sub-races, known as the Sasori (eastern name of the Scorpek), Kumo (Male example seen above), Dani, and Gaganbo. The society of the Anarachi is ruled by the females of the species, as they are the larger of the two genders, with some examples being as large as trolls. In contrast, the males are just above the size of the average gnome, yet fight with the ferocity of starved hounds. The practices of the Anarachi are some of the most vide and horrific things imaginable to any sane man. The creatures have been known to prepare and then eat the corpses of fallen warriors, including their own. Some say that this is in some form of respect for a worthy foe, and by eating them, they can take on the strength of that foe as a way of continuing their legacy. One's own musing would gleam that these bestial people, can simply consume any form of matter with little ramifications.

The sketch seen above is of a Kumo Ox Captain (Blood included). Many hordes tend to use some form of animal iconography, to decorate their warriors, and dictate their role. The Ox Captain is meant to be the vanguard of a force, attacking a foe in direct attacks. Apparently, this is seen as the most prestigious role in the eyes of the Anarachi males, as this will give them better favor in the eyes of the females. I have yet to find out the reason why this is the case, but I assure you, my lord, I will have the answer by my next letter. This leads me to the reason for the blood on the sketch. My patron in the east was allowed to sketch the captain in question before a battle, only if that Kumo was allowed to bleed on the page, as to "Give you something to feed on, should my body not be found in time", in his own words. This has also allowed me to get safer passage in the realm, with all of the battles going on.

  Will write more,
-Tahir Rajul Shabah, your humble scribe.
