Description
Many a time we hear the silence of unspoken words.We miss the familiar andhold close to our hearts the cherished memories of those we have loved that are no longer with us.
This image was intentionally dedicated to the memory of my mother,but as I see the world today it is also for those that have lost their loved ones whether through sickness or before their time.

I feel like perhaps a few more subtle highlights to bring out some contrast here and there might help this piece to bring your eye to certain focal points... especially around the wings and the eyes.. but overall, this is a somber, mellow, beautiful piece, and I think it really gets the idea across. I'm enjoying the golds and blues also, lovely color choices.

Taking a closer look there are a few missing in this.This was the last image I made on my old computer before it died. Sadly a lot is lost by the image being so small and the textures being of a gritty nature which I eventually had to tone down some.This as far as my experience was at that time was as far as I could go .But I will try to add the highlights and contrast that you speak of and in hope that it improves.
I am pleased you enjoy the colours, as it was an intentional dedication to my mother I did not want to make it too dowdy(as some can do in such circumstances) yet still give it a somber yet brighter feel as one would want to have for their dearly departed.

Awww...I was late finnishing it off for my mum and remembered yours as well as their days are so close together..and then sept 11th and felt it should be dedicated to all who have lost loved ones..my mum would have liked that

Thank you Matt, I cannot place flowers on my ma's bit of ground so this is the next best thing.She adored her garden,with the shifting colour throughout the seasons,So I hope this was some sort of representation of that
