Classic and tragic domestic abuse case I've both seen and heard about way to much. They get it groomed into their heads that they deserve it. They get want it to last so bad that either they don't seek help or deny any that comes their way. I recall a report of a guy trying to beat a man off his girlfriend on a train he was abusing. Then the girl turned around to stop him and BOTH of them turned on the guy trying to save her by beating him to death.
