Description Back in 1984, usually when Hasbro sold a Transformers toy in multiple color schemes, they represented different characters.  It's my theory that the red Bumblebee and yellow Cliffjumper were going to be individual characters, but somebody at Hasbro forgot about them (along with Bumper) and so no unique names or personalities were ever assigned to them.

In my little world, the yellow version of Cliffjumper is "really" named Blow-Out (which itself was an early proposed name for Cliffjumper, explaining why his TRANSFORMERS UNIVERSE profile describes that he suffers from "actual blow-outs," making a distinction from his name.)

Digital repaints can be very labor-intensive.  There was lots of color reflected in the chrome on his hubcaps, so I had to make sure to edit all of that as well.  It just wouldn't do to have a yellow Cliffjumper with red highlights on his wheels!
