Just testing out doing some comic pages. I was writing a bit of backstory for the characters from my book and this idea about Sinclair and Everis meeting up for the first time came into my head. Needless to say, I then had to draw it.Sinclair and Everis end up becoming very close friends, Sin being the only hunter ever to work for a vampire, but as he soon discovers, despite Everis's fearful reputation, he does have some honour and would never hurt a child, despite being this scary, all powerful, vampire. When I've finished my 4 Vichalace books I plan on writing a story all about Sera as a teenager who ends up taking over from her uncle as Everis's personal vampire hunter
I've already got it all planned out and even started writing a few key chapters. Really must finish all my other work first though! Anyway, for now, enjoy. I will be back with more art soon.And remember, all vampires bite, but some really just want a hug

Heh, definately looking good! The only thing that threw me off was that Sinclair has an awful lot stuffed into his dialogue bubble. Since it's a comic, you might want to consider making what the characters say more concise, to save room and keep the action moving, if nothing else.

I was thinking that for when I come to do more comic pages, I haven't used photoshop to do my text before, so I think next time I might make the bubbles a little bigger and perhaps use a different font.

I've been okay. Not around on DA as much as I would like, been busy with doing some part time work and a few commissions. Sometimes I feel like there's not enough hours in the day lol. I have so much art waiting to be completed... but then I have a lot of ironing too heh. Hope you are ok too and are not bogged under by snow like we are here! It's been so cold!

hehe yes there was a lot of snow here too but it got warmer so now most of it is gone. I seen on the tv that the UK indeed has a lot of problems with it!
For me things now are pretty relaxed. I am starting with my thesis, so reading a lot of books about it.. my school will not start untill february and from march on I will do an intership at a museum I really love

Yeah, I saw you comment there. I'm so busy at DD with admin stuff now that I don't comment myself much like I used to. You're stuff is better than ever Zoe! With all those commissions for steampunk work you're getting I dunno if you'd have time for comics anymore?

Pretty much the case, yes. I didn't 'give up' on the comics, they just became far too time consuming what with real life and real work etc etc. I lost my job so I need money from commissions and stuff to help me out, so they became a priority. Plus I was becoming so self critical, I'd draw a page then colour it then hate it - and that took me a few days. Plus I do a lot of writing, working on about 3 books at once, and that also takes a lot of time. However, I am starting a new comic, one I have wanted to do for a while, and I stand a good chance of finishing it as I have it scripted, heh. If you want to see some WIP, have a look in my scraps. I think it will be like EarthBound meets screwed up fairy storys and Frankenstein. Anyway so good to speak to you again, I hope when I have at least 10 or more pages I may return to DD. Relive the glory days heh. I do miss it and everyone so much!

I'm in the middle of book 3 now, so maybe not too long to go. It's just the publishing that takes the time. Growl. Wish I had the money to get it done

I know it does kinda suck (no vampire pun intended) but i know you can do it, just takes alot of patience i guess, never done it before so no idea x3 just wish i could help you somehow x3 i'll give you a glomp for now
