Hopefully it's not too small ;A; If so then download or I'll edit it later.This took me like 2 hours so don't take my sketching seriously (like that wuffs face).
Hope this helps if you're wondering how I work, remember IF YOU COPY MY STYLE EXACTLY, THEN YOU'RE JUST COPYING ALL MY MISTAKES! MAKE YOUR OWN, UNIQUE STYLE!
I can't shout that out enough :c
Anyway, I felt like posting something useful since I haven't in ages... in fact I don't think I ever have.

As for anatomy, it's best to actually look up real wolf anatomy guides rather than referencing off other artists, as that way you can get it correct and then incorporate your style into it c:
Once again, trial and error is always a good teacher, but definitely look up some real references!

you know what's actually hilarious, you're telling people to make their own style, yet you copy the style the Balto movies were made in -.-, get your OWN style THEN you can tell people to make their own ¬_¬

Oh wow, sorry for being just another 'run of the mill' artist. We all have the right to be inspired right? And I can see how you find this character's design similar to that of Balto's but criticizing my style as copying in a whole? I don't see how that comment fits.
You're acting all pissed off at me for drawing in my style basically, so what if it looks a little bit like Balto (but there are many differences I could point out such as the noses, the eyes, the paws, the fur directions and quantities etc.), I made this because there were people who wanted to see how I drew my head concepts step-by-step.
I don't really like pulling other people's art into the problem, but no one has completely original styles. Its impossible not to be inspired by other people, that's what drives an artist to get better in my opinion, knowing that you can look at someone else's art and aspire to be like them one day. And that's how we improve.
Though I don't see how my style really looks like [link] or [link] oh no wait, that's because there are more characters in the Balto movie than Balto himself.
