My Chinchilla Buttercup passed away last year when she was 8. Poor girl, her intestines were blocked up and there was nothing we could do. Anyways, happy b-day Pippin!

is he a chinchilla? my sis has a chinchilla and when we got em home the first thing it did when I went to pet the little devil it latched itself onto my hand and WOULD NOT LET GO!
it was a 1 minute battle between me and a blur of gray furry stuff. we both got out ok though.
dunno why but he only hates me.
everytime I go to feed it its a new adventure, never know what it'll do next.

I was actually gonna ask how Chinchila age works..I only know dogs are middle aged at anywhere from 3-5 depending on the dog..
