Yeah, I could only do half as good with a real DS. (The best I ever made on the DS was a Ru-Can kissing scene)
I use MS paint for most of it and Character maker 1999 (for the coloring and corrections)

It's surprisingly easier using the mouse, a good alternative when I don't have my tablet on me. My current Icon is one I made from the game Dramatical Murder.
