Appearance:
Sabre has dark pine green scales, dark gray underscales beneath his neck, underbelly and tail. He has chartreuse coloured wings and horns. light gray webbing on his fins and bioluminescent stripes are light blue. He has olive coloured eyes. He is slightly taller than Comet and reaches the top of Jackal's shoulders.

Personality:
Sabre is not the bravest of the group and is easily frightened by fights. He enjoys volunteering around the academy when it comes to school events. He somehow gets caught in fights because of his nervous and clumsy behavior but its not intentional and in some way avoids getting injured. Jackal describes him as "a nice guy with a lot of bad luck". Sabre somehow can come out of a deadly situation unscathed (kind of like the Roadrunner from loony tons) When he gets frightened and freaks out when he's attacked he has a tendency to slap the attacker with his tail in reflex. Despite his cowardliness he has shown to stand up against bullies that pick on the smaller dragons with his close friend Jackal at his side. Sabre is fiercely loyal to his friends and will try to be as strong and brave as them. He always tries his hardest and Jackal tries to teach him how to fight. He is very nervous around Skywing since they attacked the summer palace when he was just a hatchling.

Background:
Sabre was born in the seawing kingdom like the rest. When he was just a hatchling his uncle Sturgeon brought his son Malachite and Sabre to the summer palace and when they were there the Skywings came and destroyed the palace. Sturgeon grabbed both Malachite and Sabre and made it back to the deepsea palace in one piece. Once the war was over Sturgeon sent Sabre to Jade academy to learn about the world, which is where he met Jackal and later Comet, Iceberg and Summer.
