And another UPDATE: I reworked her feet a bit because some people thought she was walking actually. Which she is NOT. She is FLOATING!
This is meant as the opposite of "Doom".
First of all I have to say that I worked very very long on that face. I finally wanted her design to be done and I saw that I should learn from some "old masters" now. That's why I took my books and looked for artists I'd like the most. One book was featuring french masters and I picked Fragonard and Bouguereau as my favorites to learn from.
Influences can be seen here, because I just love their way of painting backgrounds and floating dresses.
I also started to make her costume for real.
BTW, meet my elephant Bodo. He will replace my signature from now on since I desperatly fell in love with him.

This is 100% fav-worthy material. She is just gorgeous (and that's not a word I throw around), especially her face. Great work with the foliage and city in the background, not to mention she really does look like she's floating.
The longer I look at her, the better she looks. This goes against everything I learned in psychology about habituation, but oh well. For your efforts, you get a fav. Enjoy.

That is truly incredible....her face is definitely the most stunning there is so much detail and her clothing is folded so perfectly. I love her position and the way her hands are so delicately placed.
