I began to work on a new series, one that doesn't really fit anything I have thus far in my gallery, but something I like. The seven deadly sins didn't quite work out but I'm hoping these are better received. I decided to work on the Greek Gods. So, I am trying to cover as much ground as possible.Poseidon, god of the seas. This is probably my most intriguing shot that took the most time and effort. Opening your eyes under water hurts like hell, and I kept getting water up my nose. But it was worth it when I saw this shot. One word- AMAZING.
I'm in love.

I love the expression in his face. Intense fear and there's a sense that he's been overpowered. I'm not extremely familiar with poseidon as one of the greek gods but I think with a title like 'sunken poseidon' your trying to make a point of that loss of power and added vulnerability. I think you've done a great job portraying that.

It's a beautiful shot, although I don't think Poseidon would look quite so bewildered and uncomfortable underwater.....
