well one of my darker pics... I used another pencil to get away from the grey shades Iยดm so used to... and this is what comes out....Does anyone like it?
and does anyone recognise Kirk ? Iยดm really having problems to draw him...I do not own Star Trek

You are welcome. I am in fact looking at this again and I have to say it is one of my all time favourite Star Trek pieces. I have not been in the community long but I have seen hundreds of star trek pieces and most are cartoony. It's refreshing to see some traditional artwork. I still can't get over those faces. I genuinely love it, I sure wish I could draw half as good.

Kirk's face can be difficult, but I see him, he looks good.

Oh wow this looks amazing, how you did Kirk's perspective is great and your shading is awesome.

I really like the dark shadowing around Spock's face. And that shirt loooks like it is on a body - good job. Kirk's lips are yum and I like the angle of his face. Again, go even more strong with the medium darks, and those highlights will start to really jump from the contrast. Have you tried blending the edge of dark and light with your finger or a bit of cloth? Then you'll see some smooth gradations. Great effort -

I will try next time to blend the edges a wee bit more. I tried it alreay but just really light I was afraid of smudge it.
no didnยดt make it to the library yet... I was just tooooo occupied with my job but Iยดll have some free time next month and then Iยดll go
