i know this is not the intention of the pic at all, but this reminds me of a testimony i heard about a boy who died and his father held him, and the boy felt his spirit rise from his body, and he felt so alive, but his father couldn't see him, and he tried to tell his father he was here, but he couldn't. he felt a weight pulling him down, and he descended into hell, where he saw great torture. he was horrified, but he felt the lord take him out of hell, and put him back in his body, and he's alive, telling people his story. this pick just reminded me of that testimony, i'm sorry, but even though this is not your intention, it does remind me of the christian theory of death and the spirit of the body, i just thought i'd point that out. i can feel zuko's pain, the desire to tell his uncle that he's there, but the impossibility of his uncle knowing it. the bottom line is, you captured something that made me feel emotional, good job

oh dear, that report is quite haunting.
while I don´t believe in the concept of heaven and hell so much, I do believe in spirits. I´ve read reports about near death experiences as well. And some have seen there body and heard the dotor´s talking. Some were even able to recount what they have heard.
You know there is no higher compliment for an artist, as to wake feelings in onlookers. So thank you very much

yes it was a shocking testimony, and that boy is now very happy and fulfilled,
my own grandmother had an out of body experience during a surgery, and she said it was one of the most surreal thins she's ever felt.

i know! their was a storm, and he and his uncle needed to look for shelter. then when they came around the corner of an alley, their were robbers who cutted his throat.

no I really thought about adding tears in here...but well I have lost important family members and after a while I stopped weeping in the open and became a silent mourner *if that is even a term*
basically I thought that Iroh has lost so much in his life...his wife his son and in here Zuko. perhabs I keeps the pain for himself?
